samova stands for the original top quality brand in modern tea culture. In order to keep up our high standards, in August 2007 we conducted an extensive refinement of our range of products. At the same time nine tea varieties were brought up to organic standards and top quality tins and gift packaging established.
With these improvements samova found that they had to change their prices accordingly - for the first time since they were founded in 2002. A major increase in costs for basic ingredients due to failed crops in the countries of origin also played a main role. Consequently, the delay in the harvest of some organic crops has led to the fact that a few of our varieties are unavailable until some time in September 2007.
Quality and sustainability is of great importance to samova and therefore products are acquired exclusively from German and European suppliers. This boosts national industry with fair wages and working conditions. It also effects our prices.
