An independent jury from the Hamburg Design Contest, which takes place every two years, this year found eight works in the area product and communication design to award the hamburgerdesignpreis°prize 2003 to.

samova and Mutabor Design are happy to be placed along side industry giants such as Rolf Heide, Hadi Teherani and Tobias Grau by being distinguished with one of the best designs from Hamburg. The samova brand now qualifies to compete for the "Federal Republic of Germany Design Prize" which is hosted every two years by the Federal Ministry for Economy and Technology in co-operation with the initiative Hamburg Design.
Appropriately, the award ceremony was held in the new "Home of  samova", the stilwerk in Hamburg, and of course, we served our prized tea collection.
