»I´ll just make a nice pot of tea«. How many times have you heard that on television? Be it to comfort, catch up on the latest gossip, or simply relax after a long shopping spree. A pot of tea is always welcome. The tea drinking pop star Moby has opened a Tea Room in New Yorks Lower East Side, offering vegetarian snacks and nearly one hundred different teas.
When we first started samova, we wanted to design tasty hot drinks that were more inspired than the concoctions the market had to offer. We created the first blends in our media agency; we can happily say that samova and our modern tea culture have become »trendsetters in the market« (manager magazin).
With samova, you experience modern tea culture »made in Germany«. Founded out of a passion for tea and herbal specialties, our owner-run company stands for new tastes, the finest ingredients, an award-winning design and extraordinary events (like our modern Tea Dances and the Philosophical Salon). All products of the samova collection are created and produced with the highest standards in quality and sustainability.
samova places great value on regrowing and recycable raw materials, in addition to environmentally sustainable production methods. In order to double hedge, we have each blend of our tea an herb collection tested for contaminates twice a year by the independent institute »PMI Medical Analysis Sindelfingen«. If the respective blend allows for it, our specialties are tagged with the ORGANIC seal. In accordance with the regulations of code number DE-007 organic quality control, the samova GmbH & Co. KG is certified under VO (EWG) No. 2092/91.
Tasty teas and herbs need equally »tasty« packaging. We are pleased that our samova branding has been awarded the medal of the Art Directors Club Germany, the Red Dot Design Award of the design center Nord Rhine-Westphalia and the Hamburg Designprize 2003.
Our blends inspire modern epicures to develop their very own taste. While we do not dictate specific ways to prepare a drink, our tea-jays can offer educated advice and serving suggestions are on our tea tins.
